Translation

English translation

Bilal bin Abi Musa says that once Hajjaj wanted to appoint his son as the judge of Basra, so Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever seeks the position of judge is handed over to it, and whoever is given the position of judge forcibly, an angel descends upon him who keeps him on the straight path.
