حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَلَّهُ أَشَدُّ فَرَحًا بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَسْقُطَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ، وَقَدْ أَضَلَّهُ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَاةٍ " (٢)، ، وَحَدَّثَ بِذَلِكَ شَهْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty is more pleased with His servant's repentance than a person whose camel is lost in a wilderness and then is found after some time. This hadith has also been narrated by Shahr bin Hawshab from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him).
