حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَعْرِضُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بَعْدَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ فَيُكَلِّمُهُ، ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that sometimes the Prophet (ﷺ) would be descending from the pulpit on Friday, and if a person wanted to speak to the Prophet (ﷺ) regarding some matter of his, the Prophet (ﷺ) would talk to him. Then he would proceed to the prayer mat and lead the people in prayer.
