Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to frequently supplicate: O Allah! Grant us goodness in this world and grant us goodness in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of Hell.
