حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ يَعْنِي الْحَذَّاءَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ: هَلْ قَنَتَ عُمَرُ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، " وَمَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ عُمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) whether Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) recited Qunoot Nazilah? He replied, "Yes! A person better than Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that is, the Prophet (ﷺ) himself recited it, after bowing (ruku’)."
