حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَتَى السَّاعَةُ؟ فَقَالَ: " وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لِلسَّاعَةِ؟ " قَالَ: حُبَّ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، قَالَ: " أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a Bedouin came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) be established?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "What preparation have you made for the Hour?" He replied, "Love for Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A person will be with those whom he loves."
