Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لِيَعْتَدِلْ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي، ، صَلَاتِهِ، وَلَا يَفْتَرِشْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ كَالْكَلْبِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Maintain moderation in prostrations, and none of you should spread his hands like a dog.
