حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: " مَا شَمِمْتُ رِيحًا قَطُّ مِسْكًا وَلَا عَنْبَرًا أَطْيَبَ مِنْ رِيحِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَا مَسِسْتُ قَطُّ خَزًّا وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have never smelled any fragrance more pleasant than the scent of the Prophet (peace be upon him), not even musk or amber, and I have never touched any silk softer than the palm of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
