Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the Fajr prayer at Khyber in the darkness of early morning, and after saying Allahu Akbar, he said: "Khyber is destroyed! When we descend into the courtyard of a people, then the morning of those who have been warned is the worst." At that time, the people had come out for their work. They began to say, "Muhammad and his army have arrived." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) conquered Khyber, killed their fighting men, and took their children as captives. Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) came into the share of Dihyah (may Allah be pleased with him), but later she came to the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) set her free and married her, and her freedom was considered her dowry.
