Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " تَعَاهَدُوا هَذِهِ الصُّفُوفَ، فَإِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ مِنْ خَلْفِي " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Take care to straighten the rows, for I see you from behind me as well.
