Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا قُرِّبَ الْعَشَاءُ وَنُودِيَ بِالصَّلَاةِ، فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ ثُمَّ صَلُّوا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When the evening meal is served and the prayer is established, then eat the food first and then perform the prayer.
