حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كَانَ يَمُدُّ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ مَدًّا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I once asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the manner of the Prophet’s (ﷺ) recitation, so he replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to prolong his voice.
