Musnad Ahmad Hadith 12013

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to be very happy when a Bedouin would come and ask the Prophet (ﷺ) a question. So once a Bedouin came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) be established?" At that time, the Iqamah had been pronounced, so the Prophet (ﷺ) began to lead the prayer. After finishing the prayer, he said, "Where is the one who asked about the Hour?" He said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! I am here." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "What preparation have you made for the Hour?" He said, "I have not prepared many good deeds, prayers, or fasts, but I do have this much: I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A person will be with the one whom he loves on the Day of Judgment." Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says, "I have never seen the Muslims as happy as they were on that day after accepting Islam."
