حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: " أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَقَدْ كَانَ بَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ شَيْءٌ، فَجَعَلَ يَرُدُّ بَعْضَهُنَّ عَنْ بَعْضٍ "، فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ: احْشُ (١) يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِنَّ التُّرَابَ، وَاخْرُجْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the time for prayer approached, at that time there was some bitterness between the Prophet (ﷺ) and the pure wives, and the pure wives were defending each other. Meanwhile, Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Put dust in their mouths and come outside for prayer."
