حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَلَا إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ، أَلَا فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا، وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءً، وَإِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ذَاكُمْ غَدْرًا أَمِيرُ الْعَامَّةِ " فَمَا نَسِيتُ رَفْعَهُ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The world is lush, green, and sweet. Allah will grant you succession in it to see what deeds you perform. Remember! On the Day of Resurrection, every deceiver will have a flag according to the extent of his deceit, and the greatest deceit will be that of the person who is the general ruler of the entire country.
