حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ: كُنَّا جُلُوسًا نَنْتَظِرُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ، قَالَ: فَأَتَيْتُهُ لِأُبَشِّرَهُ، قَالَ: فَلَمْ يَرْفَعْ بِهِ رَأْسًا، كَأَنَّهُ قَدْ سَمِعَهُ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Fitr narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Raja' narrated to me, he said: I heard my father say: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri say: We were sitting waiting for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he mentioned the hadith, except that he said: So I came to him to give him glad tidings, and he said: But he did not raise his head at it, as if he had already heard it.
