حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ، وَلَا نَصَبٍ، وَلَا سَقَمٍ، وَلَا حَزَنٍ، وَلَا أَذًى، حَتَّى الْهَمِّ يُهِمُّهُ، إِلَّا اللهُ يُكَفِّرُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whatever worry, hardship, grief, illness, or sorrow, even those thoughts "which trouble him" reach a Muslim, Allah expiates his sins through them.
