حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَا: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَاسْتَاكَ، وَمَسَّ مِنْ طِيبٍ (١) إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ، وَلَبِسَ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ ثِيَابِهِ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَلَمْ يَتَخَطَّ رِقَابَ النَّاسِ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ مَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ، ثُمَّ أَنْصَتَ إِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ، فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ، كَانَتْ كَفَّارَةً لِمَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ الَّتِي قَبْلَهَا " قَالَ: وَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: " وَثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ زِيَادَةٌ، إِنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَ الْحَسَنَةَ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever takes a bath on Friday, uses a miswak, applies perfume (if available), wears good clothes, then goes out to the mosque, does not step over people's necks, prays as many voluntary prayers as he wishes, and when the Imam comes out, remains silent and does not speak until the prayer is finished, then this will be an expiation for all the sins committed between this Friday and the previous Friday. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) would also include the next three days and would say that Allah has fixed the reward of every good deed as ten times.
