حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ " سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى، ، جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) began the prayer by saying Allahu Akbar, he would say: Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdika wa tabaarakasmuka wa ta’ala jadduka wa la ilaha ghayruk.
