حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو لَيْلَى، قَالَ أَبِي: " سَمَّاهُ سُرَيْجٌ: عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَيْسَرَةَ الْخُرَاسَانِيَّ "، عَنْ غياث (١) الْبَكْرِيِّ قَالَ: كُنَّا نُجَالِسُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ خَاتَمِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِي كَانَ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ، " هَكَذَا لَحْمٌ نَاشِزٌ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ghiyath Bakri, may Allah have mercy on him, says that we used to attend the gathering of Abu Saeed Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, in Madinah Munawwarah. Once, I asked him about the Seal of Prophethood of the Prophet (ﷺ), "which was between his two shoulders." He pointed with his index finger and said that between the Prophet’s (ﷺ) two shoulders was a piece of flesh, filled and raised, of about this size.
