حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ، وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ، وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ، وَالْبُرُّ بِالْبُرِّ، وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ، وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ، سَوَاءٌ بِسَوَاءٍ، مِثْلٌ بِمِثْلٍ، مَنْ زَادَ أَوْ اسْتَزَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى، الْآخِذُ وَالْمُعْطِي سَوَاءٌ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, and salt for salt should be exchanged equally. Whoever adds to it or demands an addition, he engages in usury, and in this both the giver and the taker are equal.
