حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَانِيَةِ (١) قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَقَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ هَذَا الْجَرِّ (٢) قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَالْجُفُّ قَالَ: ذَاكَ أَشَرُّ وَأَشَرُّ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Al-Alaniyah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) about the nabidh (fermented drink) made in a pitcher, so he replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade it. I asked, "What is the ruling about a hollow piece of wood?" He replied, "That is even worse than the pitcher."
