حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِابْنِ صَائِدٍ: " مَا تَرَى؟ " قَالَ: أَرَى عَرْشًا عَلَى الْبَحْرِ، وحوله (١) الْحَيَّاتُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَرَى (٢) عَرْشَ إِبْلِيسَ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) asked Ibn Sayyad, "What do you see?" He said, "I see a throne on the sea, around which there are snakes." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He is seeing the throne of Iblis."
