Qaza'ah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once he heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating a hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ), and I liked it. I went closer to him and asked, "Did you really hear this from the Prophet (ﷺ)?" At this, he became very angry and said, "Would I narrate any hadith that I did not hear from the Prophet (ﷺ)? Yes! I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'Mounts should not be saddled for a journey except to three mosques: al-Masjid al-Haram, the Prophet’s Mosque, and al-Masjid al-Aqsa.' And I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'A woman should not travel except with her husband or a mahram.' And I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'Fasting should not be observed on two days: the day of Eid al-Fitr and the day of Eid al-Adha.' And I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'No voluntary prayers should be performed at two times: after the Asr prayer until sunset, and after the Fajr prayer until sunrise.'"
