Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ شُمَيْخٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اجْتَهَدَ فِي الْيَمِينِ قَالَ: " لَا وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ بِيَدِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would take a firm oath on something, he would say: "No, by Him in Whose Hand is the soul of Abu al-Qasim."
