Translation

English translation

Once a man asked Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) about the izar (lower garment), so he replied, "You have asked a well-informed person. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The izar of a Muslim should be up to the middle of the shin. There is no harm if it is between the shin and the ankles, but the part of the izar that is below the ankles will be in Hell, and Allah will not look with mercy upon the person who drags his izar on the ground out of pride."
