حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " السُّحُورُ أَكْلَةٌ بَرَكَةٌ فَلَا تَدَعُوهُ، وَلَوْ أَنْ يَجْرَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ جَرْعَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ، فَإِنَّ، ، اللهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The pre-dawn meal (suhoor) is a source of blessing, so do not abandon it, even if you only drink a sip of water. For Allah and His angels send mercy, each in their own way, upon those who partake in the pre-dawn meal."
