حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، وَالْخُزَاعِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَقَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ: ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ لَهُ: " إِنِّي أَرَاكَ تُحِبُّ الْغَنَمَ وَالْبَادِيَةَ، فَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي غَنَمِكَ أَوْ بَادِيَتِكَ، فَأَذَّنْتَ بِالصَّلَاةِ، فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالنِّدَاءِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَسْمَعُ صَوْتَ الْمُؤَذِّنِ، - وَقَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ: لَا يَسْمَعُ مَدَى صَوْتِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ - جِنٌّ وَلَا إِنْسٌ، وَلَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Abi Sa’sa’ah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father that Abu Sa’id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) once said to me: I see that you love goats and the wilderness, so whenever you give the call to prayer (adhan) among your goats or in the wilderness, give it in a loud voice, because whatever hears the sound of the adhan—whether jinn, humans, or stones—will bear witness in his favor on the Day of Resurrection. I heard this from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
