Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of Eid al-Fitr, the Prophet (ﷺ) would leave his house (for the Eid prayer ground) and lead the people in two units of prayer. After completing the prayer with salam, he would stand up, move forward, and face the people. The people would remain seated, and the Prophet (ﷺ) would encourage them three times to give charity. Most of the women on this occasion would give away earrings, rings, etc. as charity. Then, if the Prophet (ﷺ) had any need to address the army, he would mention it; otherwise, he would return.
