حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْجَنَازَةَ فَقُومُوا، فَمَنْ اتَّبَعَهَا (١) فَلَا يَقْعُدْ حَتَّى تُوضَعَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When you see a funeral, stand up, and whoever accompanies the funeral should not sit down before the funeral is placed on the ground.
