Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عِيسَى الْأُسْوَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ، وَاتَّبِعُوا الْجَنَازَةَ تُذَكِّرُكُمُ الْآخِرَةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Visit the sick and accompany the funeral, this will remind you of the Hereafter.
