It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: It is not permissible for a wealthy person to take charity (zakat), except in three cases: in jihad in the way of Allah, in a state of travel, and in the case where something from charity is sent to his neighbor and the neighbor gives it as a gift to the wealthy person.
