حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي زَيْنَبُ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ " فَقَالَ: فَقَدِمَ قَتَادَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ أَخُو أَبِي سَعِيدٍ لِأُمِّهِ، فَقَرَّبُوا إِلَيْهِ مِنْ قَدِيدِ الْأَضْحَى، فَقَالَ: كَأَنَّ هَذَا مِنْ قَدِيدِ الْأَضْحَى؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ: أَلَيْسَ قَدْ نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: قَدْ حَدَثَ (١) فِيهِ أَمْرٌ؟ " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ نَهَى أَنْ نَحْبِسَهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ، ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ لَنَا أَنْ نَأْكُلَ وَنَدَّخِرَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade keeping the meat of sacrifice for more than three days. Once, Abu Saeed's (may Allah be pleased with him) maternal brother, Qatadah bin Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him), came to him. He presented before him the meat of sacrifice, which had been dried. Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "It seems this is the meat of sacrifice." He replied, "Yes!" Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not forbid keeping it for more than three days?" Upon this, Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Was there not a new command regarding this? At first, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from keeping this meat for more than three days, but later he permitted us to eat it and store it."
