حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فَخَلَعَ، ، نَعْلَيْهِ، فَخَلَعَ النَّاسُ نِعَالَهُمْ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ، قَالَ: " لِمَ خَلَعْتُمْ نِعَالَكُمْ؟ " فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، رَأَيْنَاكَ خَلَعْتَ فَخَلَعْنَا، قَالَ: " إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَتَانِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ بِهِمَا خَبَثًا فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَلْيَقْلِبْ نَعْلَهُ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ فِيهَا، فَإِنْ رَأَى بِهَا خَبَثًا فَلْيُمِسَّهُ بِالْأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ لِيُصَلِّ فِيهِمَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Prophet (ﷺ) led the prayer and took off his shoes, so the people also took off their shoes. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Why did you people take off your shoes?" The people replied, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), we saw you taking off your shoes, so we also took them off." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Gabriel came to me and informed me that there was some impurity on my shoes. Therefore, when any one of you comes to the mosque, he should turn and look at his shoes. If he sees any impurity on them, he should rub them on the ground, and then pray in them."
