حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ يَتَصَبَّرْ يُصَبِّرْهُ اللهُ، وَمَنْ يَسْتَغْنِ (١) يُغْنِهِ اللهُ، وَمَنْ يَسْتَعْفِفْ يُعِفَّهُ اللهُ، وَمَا (٢) أَجِدُ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا أَوْسَعَ مِنَ الصَّبْرِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever practices patience, Allah grants him patience; whoever seeks chastity, Allah grants him chastity; whoever seeks sufficiency from Allah, and I do not find for you any provision more vast than patience.
