Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once we were walking with the Prophet (ﷺ) when suddenly a poet came reciting poetry. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Stop this devil. For a man's belly to be filled with pus is better than for it to be filled with poetry."
