حَدَّثَنَا رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ سِبَاعٍ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ تَغَنَّى أَغْنَاهُ اللهُ، وَمَنْ تَعَفَّفَ أَعَفَّهُ اللهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever seeks self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient, and whoever seeks chastity, Allah will grant him chastity.
