It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about which things a Muhrim (one in the state of Ihram) is allowed to kill. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He may strike with a stone a snake, a scorpion, a mouse, and a crow, but should not kill them; a rabid dog, a kite, and a predatory enemy beast.
