English translation

Yazid bin Asam (may Allah have mercy on him) says that someone said to Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), "You narrate a great many hadiths." He replied, "If I were to start narrating every hadith I heard from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), you would begin to throw peels at me and would not even tolerate looking at me."
