Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنْ إِنَّمَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty does not look at your appearances and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.
