حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، وَأَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ الْمَعْنَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَالَ لُوطٌ: لَوْ أَنَّ لِي بِكُمْ قُوَّةً، أَوْ آوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ " قَالَ: " قَدْ كَانَ يَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ، وَلَكِنَّهُ عَنَى عَشِيرَتَهُ، فَمَا بَعَثَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بَعْدَهُ (٤) نَبِيًّا إِلَّا بَعَثَهُ فِي ذُرْوَةِ قَوْمِهِ " قَالَ أَبُو عُمَرَ: " فَمَا بَعَثَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، ، نَبِيًّا بَعْدَهُ (١) ، إِلَّا فِي مَنَعَةٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said in the explanation of "If only I had strength with you..." that Prophet Lut (peace be upon him) was seeking the support of a strong pillar. After him, whichever prophet Allah sent, He made them from among the wealthy people of their nation.
