Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ - أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ - خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا - أَوِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عَلَيْهَا - " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: To strive in the way of Allah for a morning or an evening is better than the world and whatever is in it.
