حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ أَثْقَلَ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْمُنَافِقِينَ، صَلَاةُ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْفَجْرِ، وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِيهِمَا، لَأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا، وَلَوْ عَلِمَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنَّهُ إِذَا وَجَدَ عَرْقًا مِنْ شَاةٍ سَمِينَةٍ، أَوْ مِرْمَاتَيْنِ حَسَنَتَيْنِ، لَأَتَيْتُمُوهَا أَجْمَعِينَ، لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَتُقَامَ، ثُمَّ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، ثُمَّ آخُذَ حُزَمًا مِنْ حَطَبٍ، فَآتِيَ الَّذِينَ تَخَلَّفُوا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ، فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ بُيُوتَهُمْ " (٢) وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَهَذَا أَتَمُّ، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Fajr and Isha prayers are the heaviest on the hypocrites, and if they knew the reward of these two, they would surely attend them even if they had to come crawling on their knees. My heart desires that I order the muezzin to call the adhan and appoint a man to lead the prayer, then I go with some people carrying bundles of wood to those who do not attend the congregational prayer and set fire to their houses.
