Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the iqamah for prayer was being called and people began to straighten the rows. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) also arrived and stood at his place. After a short while, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) remembered that he had not performed ghusl. So the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to the people, "Stay here," and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) left. When he returned, we were still standing in the rows as before, and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had performed ghusl, and drops of water were dripping from his head. Then he (ﷺ) said the takbir and led us in prayer.
