Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ أَبِي يَعْلَى، عَنْ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، أَمَرَ الْمِقْدَادَ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَذْيِ فَقَالَ: " يَتَوَضَّأُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn al-Hanafiyyah that `Ali (رضي الله عنه) told al-Miqdad to ask the Prophet (ﷺ) about madhi and he said:
`Let him do wudoo`.`
