حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ يعني ابن، ، زياد قال: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الدَّابَّةُ الْعَجْمَاءُ جُبَارٌ، وَالْمَعْدِنُ جُبَارٌ، وَالْبِئْرُ جُبَارٌ، وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the same chain that I heard Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him) say: The blood of one who is killed by an animal is wasted; the blood of one who dies by falling into a well is wasted; the blood of one who dies in a mine is also wasted; and for buried treasure that someone finds, one-fifth (khums) is obligatory.
