“Barakallahu” is a combination of the words “baraka” (blessing) and “Allah” (God). “Feek” is the second-person singular pronoun “you” in the Arabic language. combined Barakallahu Feek means “May Allah’s Blessings be Upon You”.

How to reply
There are different ways to reply to Barakallahu Fiik. here are some of the common ones:
- “Ameen, Wa Feek Barakallahu ” امين وَفيك بَارَكَ اللهُ – which directly returns the dua to the person who said it to you. or it can be shorter by saying “Ameen, Waa Feek”
- “Jazakallahu Khairan” جَزَاكَ اللهُ خَيْرًا – which means May Allah reward you with good. It is a way of expressing gratitude and acknowledging the person’s blessings and prayers.
