Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz the president of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has signed a contract with one of the biggest Carpet factory in Saudi Arabia to Supply the new premium carpet for Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.
He said that they agreed on 20,700 Carpet, which will be made by professionals Saudi Hands, using the latest technology and the highest standards available worldwide. The new Carpets will feature outstanding toughness, and most premium texture that gives it the strength of steel and durability for the expected usage.

As you can see the color will be green to match their counterparts in Masjid al-Haram. And The 1st Carpet to be placed in Al-Masjid an-Nabawi expected to be in the month of Ramadan.
