Hadith of Maymun ibn Sanbadh (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ سِنْبَاذَ، • ٢١٩٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، (١) حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو (٢) أَيُّوبَ، صَاحِبُ الْبَصْرِيِّ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَالُ لَهُ: مَيْمُونُ بْنُ سُنْبَاذَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قَوَامُ أُمَّتِي بِشِرَارِهَا " قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا (٣)، ،

It is narrated from Maymun bin Sanbaz (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The disease that will cut the roots of my Ummah will be its worst people. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) repeated this sentence three times.
