Hadith of Ubayy ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ أُبَيِّ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ٢٠٣٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ، وَبَهْزٌ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زُرَارَةَ بْنَ أَوْفَى، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ، أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ النَّارَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ، فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللهُ وَأَسْحَقَهُ " (١)، ،

It is narrated from Ubayy bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever finds his parents or even one of them and still enters Hell, then he has become very far from the mercy of Allah.
